ITA Brevi note sull'album.
Nella primavera 2012 terminava una corposa autoproduzione dal titolo Today and Tonight (a nome Claudio Maffei), produzione che però necessitava di un'ossatura discografica più importante che viene così realizzata nel 2019, l'album trova la sua destinazione finale a nome Muff Brotherhood dal titolo Somewhere Along The Shore, edito da Surabaya Music, con etichetta Redwood Recordings - Funky Juice. Muff Brotherhood non è un nome a caso, queste 14 tracce nascono da preziose collaborazioni di cui ho avuto la fortuna di avvalermi negli anni. Una “fratellanza” in musica che ha convogliato energie ed idee nei creativi territori delle composizioni originali. Molti i musicisti, i tecnici, gli amici che hanno dato un contributo importante a questo lavoro a cui voglio rendere omaggio. Se queste mie canzoni hanno preso vita nell’autoproduzione del 2012 è grazie a Greg Demos, Sandro Drago, Silvio Screti, Valter Detond, Fabio Fraschini, Francesca De Fazi, Stefano Ciotola, Arcangelo Spina, Marco Belleudi, Maurizio Metalli, Elio Buselli, John Schiessler, Danilo Cartia, Luca Pisanu, Simone Scifoni. Nel 2019 nuove collaborazioni con Roberto Colella, Sandro Chessa, Fabiola Torresi, Luciano Gargiulo ed Enrico Chiarioni hanno portato a chiudere il cerchio con la pubblicazione dell’album Somewhere Along The Shore. In the spring of 2012, a substantial self-production entitled Today and Tonight (under the name Claudio Maffei) ended, a production that however needed a more important record backbone which is thus realized in 2019, the album finds its final destination under the name Muff Brotherhood with the title Somewhere Along The Shore, published by Surabaya Music, with Redwood Recordings - Funky Juice label. Muff Brotherhood is not a random name, these 14 tracks are born from precious collaborations that I have been lucky enough to get over the years. A "brotherhood" in music that channeled energies and ideas into the creative territories of the original compositions. Many musicians, technicians, friends who have made an important contribution to this work to which I want to pay homage. If these songs of mine came to life in the 2012 self-production it is thanks to Greg Demos, Sandro Drago, Silvio Screti, Valter Detond, Fabio Fraschini, Francesca De Fazi, Stefano Ciotola, Arcangelo Spina, Marco Belleudi, Maurizio Metalli, Elio Buselli, John Schiessler, Danilo Cartia, Luca Pisanu, Simone Scifoni. In 2019 new collaborations with Roberto Colella, Sandro Chessa, Fabiola Torresi, Luciano Gargiulo and Enrico Chiarioni have brought the circle to a close with the release of the album Somewhere Along The Shore.
